Relationships and lives are just as fragile.

Perhaps young ladies really should not shun opportunities just because of one man, but the tricky bit is how to achieve the fine balance. To use a term in the law of nuisance - it's about give and take; a term in the criminal law - whether it's justifiable risk taking; and in economics, people talk about opportunity costs. But when it comes to love, there's only feeling.

Mary my mother, pray for us ...

Spent nearly 10 hours with my 3-year-old cousin today while his parents were out of town

The first time I've really experienced something close to looking after a baby - instead of just playing with him and push him back to his mum when he cries. My first challenge was to take him to the loo in the shopping centre - I had no idea how I could fit him onto the toilet bowl (he was trying to poo) ... what did I do in the end? Mum was in the supermarket just downstairs so I rang her like dialling 999 and she rushed up and helped BB finish it

My neighbourhood is like a village - whenever I go out I'd meet someone. So when we yum cha, the auntie at the next table - who lives downstairs and is my friend's mother - asked "Oh whose baby is he?" My mother went, "my brother's son," then the auntie said to BB "wow you're so lucky!" Some time later the newspaper lady said to my mother "Oh I don't see him too often! Baby you don't always come back?" (What?! "come back?" You think this is mum's son? Or her grandson? ) BB just made everyone happy. When I said thank-you to the caretaker who opened the door for us, BB said the same, and she was so happy "You're so smart, boy!" I said byebye to her when we entered the lift and BB just said the same! Then we began our day of Wallace & Gromit's Were-rabbit. We watched the complete animation twice, and bits and pieces for don't-know-how-many-times. BB even asked me to play the games on the DVD - he couldn't really manage the rabbits in the game, but it was amusing enough for him to watch me play.

I love babies and I'll definitely have my own (I mean if circumstances allow, cos you never know...). This one of my many goals has never changed. After today I believe even more strongly that married couples (who have not already lived together before signing the certificate) should have a few years for themselves before having the first child; but then people also say it's better to have BBs while you're still young. And then there are some who say it's not good to get married too soon because you have to see the world before getting stuck with one, but then there are always people toiling in the tug of war of "this is the one" and "the best has yet to come" ... anyway, wish me and my friends could get the balance right.

Hong Kong International Airport's Terminal 2 was officially opened on 1 June!

As a prelude to the celebrations, guests were greeted by the Earth Harp, the world's longest stringed instrument. The strings ran from the ceiling against the backdrop of T2's wavy interior and during the 30 minutes the music travelled through the terminal - guess what? - over 2,500 passengers have in fact made their way through the airport! The terminal then impressed its guests with the facade light show, which featured T2 as a prism from which beams of light in a continuum of colours radiate. The undulating fins on the exterior wall of T2 were best captured in the next performance by the wiggly movement as the ribbons danced in the air. The contemporary world music played on the Chinese musical instrument, erhu, concluded the evening's celebration, spelling out HKIA's identity as a spot where people meet and cultures converge.
